Configuring the Chromeleon Server
Saving or Loading the Server Configuration
Saving the Server Configuration
Chromeleon supports two ways to save modifications (adding, moving, deleting, or configuring single components, etc.) to the server configuration. On the File menu:
Select Save Installation (Name) to save the modified configuration as cmserver.cfg, the default configuration for the server. This overwrites the previous file version.
Select Save as to save the modified configuration in any directory, using the name of your choice. (The file extension is cfg.) Saving various server configurations allows the user to change quickly from one installation environment to another by importing a different configuration file.
Importing a Server Configuration to a Server
To use a server configuration other than the default cmserver.cfg configuration:
Start the Server Configuration program.
Select the server to which you want to import a different server configuration.
Select Import on the File menu and enter the name and directory of the server configuration. Click Open to import the configuration to the server.
Select Save Installation on the File menu to save the imported server configuration as cmserver.cfg. This overwrites the previous configuration file with the imported configuration. The new configuration is displayed in the Server Configuration and on the associated tab pages.
